It’s almost time for school to start again and students who live in Millburn are hard at work preparing for the new academic year. Summer schedules turn into school planners, swimsuits are transferred to the back of the closet, and vacationers are saying their goodbyes, wishing they had just a little more time to have that summer fun everyone sings about. But as bitter as some may be, others are just as happy for fall and the challenge the new year will present!
Students who live in Millburn have long been known for their academic excellence, and our college acceptance rates show it! The Millburn High School recently released a list showcasing the many colleges who will be welcoming local students as they leave their Millburn home this fall! The list was featured in the Millburn Patch and you can view it here, although you no doubt have already heard about many individual success stories in local conversation throughout Millburn, whether it be proud teachers and parents meeting in the bank or nail salon or the ecstatic soon-to-be students.
From Yale to Vanderbilt to Texas A & M and Brown, Millburn’s class of 2012 is ready to start fresh, bringing a little bit of Millburn and our small town values along with them.
