The Reeves-Reed Arboretum offers a full calendar of events to those living in Millburn-Short Hills homes. Saturday, August 26th is a packed day at the Arboretum. Take a look at these events. The first is Discovery Saturdays with the topic of Carrots! Come to the Stackhouse Education Center at any point between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. for experiments, crafts, stories, games, and much more pertaining to this week’s topic. Science comes to life at the arboretum’s events. Come every Saturday with the kids for a new topic. Afterwards, stick around and borrow an Arboretum backpack to explore the grounds with binoculars, field guides, and a magnifying glass. Kids can put their new gardening knowledge to work while they explore. Discovery Saturdays are free for members and just $5 for non members. Consider a membership so you can go to the arboretum anytime and participate in members-only events.
