I found a terrific Dog Walker ( Karen Byrnes), in my Chatham NJ home neighborhood. She’s bonded and works with a team of fabulous woman that completely trust.
I use a woman locally but she doesn’t like her number advertised. Just ask me and I can give that to you.

I love this place for Bailey. Their location for drop off is right across from Kings in Short Hills. It’s immaculate and the dogs are outside all day playing. They are separated by size and Bailey comes home exhausted!

Off Leash Dog Walking
South Mountain Reservation
Great for walking your well-trained pup on miles of trails either on- leash or off. Based on experience, the further you walk into the reservation the more you’ll see dogs off- leash. A good place to enter is across from the Millburn library. There is plentiful parking and trails that go on for miles.!
Essex County South Mountain Dog Park
I’m NOT a big fan of dog parks because I think bad things happen in dog parks. Sometimes people just don’t watch their dogs and I’ve seen some pretty awful things. I especially wouldn’t bring a puppy into a dog park that’s less than 6 months old. South Mountain has some beautiful trails that you can take your pup on for long walk with a view of the city and its dog friendly!
Morris County and Denville New Jersey Dog Park
Puppy Kindergarten
St Hubert’s in Madison. This 8-week course is limited to 8-10 puppies that are between the ages of 8-18 weeks when the course begins.
Pet Shop
Millburn Pet Shop formerly Maplewood Pet Shop is a family run business that gives you personal one on one suggestions and advise on all your pet needs. Bill McClure, has been the owner and operator of Maplewood Pet Shop since 1972. Along with feed, Millburn Pet shop offers the same array of live animals found at the Maplewood location including fish, anole, gerbils, hamsters, rabbits, parakeets and guinea pigs.
